At Pomona, we like to do things a little differently. We pride ourselves in being an alternative to Edinburgh's bigger salons; we offer a bespoke service with luxury products and staff with over 25 years of experience of hairdressing. All the niceties of a big hairdressers with the personal touch of a boutique salon!

With a career that has now spanned three decades, Sharon had always hoped to own a salon. After starting her hairdressing journey at Jewel & Esk College, continuing to some well known Edinburgh salons, moving on to teach Hairdressing at the very college she trained at and finally moving back to 175. Dundee Street in 2017 (having worked there in 1999-2010), Sharon's dream became a reality.
In January 2018, Pomona opened her doors for the first time. Named after the Roman goddess of nut and fruit trees, our beautiful tree emblem is the focal point of the salon. We love welcoming all our guests to Pomona and we hope to see you soon.
